1. Select the appropriate power supply for the LED strips. Ensure the total power consumption of the LED strip is approximately 80% of the power supply's capacity to maintain optimal performance and stability.
2. This ensures that the power supply operates at the correct and stable voltage.
3. We recommend 5 meters per roll for the LED strip. If the length exceeds 5 meters, expect significant variations in LED brightness. If this is acceptable, longer lengths can be accommodated.
4. In such cases, the strip can be manufactured to exceed 5 meters per roll.
5. The adhesive tape on the strip's backside features superior adhesion and weather resistance, enabling attachment to transparent glass, metal, and plastic surfaces. However, certain surfaces like cloth and wood may diminish performance and durability. Therefore, test adhesion prior to installation.
6. Pay attention to the minimum bending diameter of 60mm for the LED strip. This precaution helps avoid direct or indirect harm to the FPC and its components, preventing strip damage.
7. To maintain waterproof and anti-corrosive qualities, once the power line is secured into the connector, apply a single-component silicone sealant (or neutral glass glue, or waterproof grease) to cover any exposed copper wire for enhanced protection.
8. Non-waterproof LED strips should not be fully exposed for outdoor applications. Refrain from touching or installing the strip while it's powered on.
9. It is advisable to use a switch power supply that complies with relevant safety standards, including short circuit protection, over voltage protection, and over current protection.
