1. Please select the appropriate power supply for your LED strips. Ensure that the total power consumption of the LED strip is about 80% of the power supply capacity, avoiding full capacity usage.
2. This ensures the power supply operates at a stable and correct voltage.
3. We recommend a 5-meter roll for the LED strip. If the length exceeds 5 meters, the LED brightness will vary. If acceptable, the length can be extended beyond 5 meters per roll.
4. However, keep in mind that extended lengths might affect brightness.
5. The adhesive tape on the back of the strip boasts superior adhesion and weather resistance, suitable for transparent glass, metal, and plastic surfaces. However, on surfaces like cloth or wood, adhesion and durability may be impacted; test adhesion before installation.
6. Note the minimum bending diameter for the LED strip is 60mm to prevent direct or indirect damage to the FPC and components, which could lead to strip failure.
7. To ensure waterproof and anti-corrosive functionality, after screwing the power line into the connector, apply a single component of silica gel (or neutral glass glue, or waterproof grease) to cover the exposed copper wire.
8. Do not use non-waterproof LED strips outdoors without protection. Avoid touching or installing the strip while it is powered.
9. Use a switch power supply that complies with safety regulations (including short circuit, over voltage, and over current protection).
