1. Please choose the correct power supply for LED strips. The total power consumption of the LED strip should be about 80% of the power supply capacity to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
2. Avoid overloading the power supply to maintain stable voltage and proper functioning.
3. For best results, use 5 meters per roll of LED strip. If extending beyond 5 meters, be aware that brightness may vary significantly. Lengths over 5 meters can be accommodated if this variation is acceptable to the customer.
4. In cases where longer lengths are required, custom lengths over 5 meters per roll can be produced.
5. The adhesive tape on the back of the strip offers excellent adhesion and weather resistance and can be applied to transparent glass, metal, and plastic surfaces. However, adhesion on surfaces like cloth or wood may be compromised. Test adhesion before installation.
6. Ensure that the minimum bending diameter of the LED strip is 60mm to avoid damaging the FPC and its components, which can lead to strip failure.
7. To maintain waterproof and anti-corrosive properties, inject a single component of silica gel (or neutral glass glue, or waterproof grease) into the connector and cover any exposed copper wire after the power line is screwed into the connector.
8. Non-waterproof LED strips should not be fully exposed to outdoor conditions. Avoid touching or installing the strip while it is powered.
9. Use a switch power supply that complies with relevant safety regulations, featuring short circuit protection, over-voltage protection, and over-current protection.
